The Parents’ Association play a vital role in our school community. We are lucky to have a very active and hardworking Parents’ Association. The P.A. are involved in the life of the school in a myriad of ways. They fundraise each year for additional resources for our school, ensuring that our pupils have the best of resources. However, their role is far more important than fundraising alone. The P.A. makes a huge effort to build a sense of community and belonging amongst the parent body of the school. They organise events such as an annual fun run, coffee mornings and Halloween discos for the children and these allow parents to meet up in a fun and informal way. The Parents’ Association contribute ideas for school development and give feedback on policies and initiaves. They support the school with the organisation of key events such as the Christmas Plays, Sports Day and Graduations. Becoming an active member of the Parents’ Association is a great way to become involved in the life of the school. When parents and teachers work closely together, our pupils benefit immensely.
