Every two years, the children in 5th and 6th class enter the Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP). This programme is an entrepreneurship programme initiative, which encourages children to learn about the different aspects of running their own business.
Find out below what the current 6th class thought about their JEP experience last year.
Last year, 5th and 6th class participated in JEP with our teacher Mr. Walsh. It was a great experience teaching us new skills such as teamwork and managing money. Not only that, it created great excitement in the classroom and we had great fun. We named our project ‘Da Beez Neez’, a lip balm made using coconut oil and locally sourced beeswax. We contributed 50% of our profits to a charity and the rest was split between the class pupils.
