Music is very important in our school. The school choir sings at special occasions such the First Holy Communion, Confirmation ceremonies and also at the start of year and end of year school mass.

Children also learn the tin whistle from first class to sixth class and perform during Seachtain na Gaeilge. These tin-whistle skills are used also during the masses the choir attends throughout the year. Each year the children perform the tin whistle every morning at the Live Crib at Christmas time.

We use a fantastic music and programme here in the school called Dabbledoo which uploads new content every month. They learn songs, scripts and poems in their class and have a lot of fun doing so.

Every second year we perform a Christmas show in Bartlemy Parish hall. The children are excellent and do tremendous work to learn their lines and the songs for the show. It is a fantastic night for all the children, staff and parents.
