Well done to all the children who participated in the Green Schools’

mascot and slogan competition recently. The standard of the entries

was very high and so the judging process was extremely difficult.

A huge congratulations to the successful candidates….

Killian Murphy from 2nd class who designed Sam the Water Save, our

school’s mascot for water conservation.

And Eabha Croke and Zoey O’Connell again from 2nd class who

created our school’s slogan for water conservation: Two, four, six, eight,

saving water is great!!!’

Copies of the mascot and the slogan are now on display at all water

points in the school as a reminder of the importance of working

together to save water.
